Contigo is designed to be completely private. Everything the app does — listening, transcribing speech, translating, and saving your conversation history — happens entirely on your device.
None. Contigo does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. There are no user accounts.
Your speech, the text transcriptions, the translations, and your saved conversation history never leave your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is sent to us or to any third‑party server. Speech recognition and translation run on Apple’s on‑device models.
Contigo asks for microphone and speech‑recognition permission solely to transcribe and translate your conversation live, on device. Audio is processed in real time and is not recorded, stored, or uploaded.
Saved conversations stay on your device until you delete them. Deleting a conversation moves it to Recently Deleted for 30 days, after which it is permanently removed. Deleting the app removes all of its data.
Contigo does not collect data from anyone, including children.
