Litrato — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Litrato (“the app”) is a photo-book app that lets you organize the photos already in your library into books, chapters, and albums, and read them back as a bound book. Your privacy matters, and the app is built to keep your photos and your books yours.

Litrato does not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information. There are no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party data-collection SDKs in the app.

Your photos

Litrato asks for access to your photo library so you can choose photos to place in your books. Your photos are used only on your device to build and display your books. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. If the app saves a photo back to your library, it does so only at your request.

Your books and captions

The books, chapters, captions, and organization you create are stored on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced through your own private iCloud account (Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit) so they appear across your devices. This data lives in your personal iCloud and is not accessible to the developer.

Location

Some photos include location information (from your camera). Litrato may read this on your device to place a photo on a per-album map. This information is processed on your device only and is never collected or transmitted to us.

Face ID

Litrato can use Face ID (or your device passcode) to protect editing of your books. This is handled entirely by the operating system; your biometric data never leaves your device and is never shared with the app or the developer.

Data retention and deletion

Photos and book data remain on your device (and in your iCloud, if enabled) until you delete them in the app or remove the app. iCloud data is managed by you through your device’s iCloud settings.

Children

Litrato is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
